Catherine Huxford

Bio

Catherine has taught in junior classrooms for 15 years in rural and city schools across New Zealand's North Island. She is passionate about making maths real for all learners. She has seen how the effective use of structured materials can make a real difference to students' understanding and confidence. Catherine is currently researching young children’s talk about numbers as part of her master's degree in Mathematics Education.
