Elrika Keyser - My name is Elrika Keyser, mum of 2 teenage daughters and wife to school photographer Louis. I am currently teaching New Entrants/Year 1 at Horsham Downs school. In my role as Team Leader for Tiima Tahi (Year 0-2), I have the privilege of working with a team of 4 very creative and innovative teachers. I have been involved in the teaching profession since 1991 with experience in South Africa and now New Zealand for 17 years. Ready4Learning has become a vital part of transitioning 5 year old children seamlessly into the school life and for the past 5 years we have reaped the benefits and shared in the success stories of so many other like minded teachers Rachel Kroukam - My name is Rachel Kroukam, I am also from South Africa and I moved over here just after my family in 2022. I have been a teacher for almost 2 years now, first in ECE and then through a New Entrant classroom. I have learnt so much about learning-through-play, being in these roles and I think the Ready4Learning program really helps the children to not only settle in and learn, but also have the best time whilst doing so.
