Building Strong Foundations Through Hands-on Science,

October 10 @ 1:50 pm - 2:40 pm

We need children to be engaged effectively in learning to ensure significant and meaningful participation. House of Science has been empowering teachers for over 10 years to deliver engaging science lessons through the provision of bilingual hands-on science resource kits. The kits are suitable for primary classrooms from YR 0-8. HoS is also an approved MoE PLD provider. Anne Ryan heads up this PLD team, where facilitators help teachers develop their pedagogical knowledfe and skills in planning and implementing the integration of the national science curriculum in their own school community.
In this workshop Anne will focus on fostering student curiosity through science based play using practical examples and lots of hands-on science activities.
