Bio

I have been teaching for over 30 years with a break in the middle to have my sons. I have held varied roles over this time including a classroom teacher teaching through play and structured literacy, team leader roles, and an Associate Principal. I have also been a conference presenter and Play Coach and am now a facilitator with Ready 4 Learning. I love working alongside and supporting our educators to grow their understanding about child and brain development so they can seek out evidence based pedagogies and practices that complement this knowledge to ensure our tamariki continue their journey of learning.

It Takes a Village

October 10 @ 12:10 pm - 1:00 pm

We all know we should make connections with whanau but sometimes it can feel like you are opening up a can of worms.
Why are whanau connections important?
How can we connect in a mutually supportive way?
How can we sustain these connections?
How can we avoid or deal with conflict?
You’ll leave this workshop with lots of great ideas to implement.
Come along and create some whanaungatanga together!
