Lynda Knight-de Blois

Bio

Lynda Knight-de Blois is Principal of Glenview School in Cannons Creek, Porirua and a Professional Development Facilitator in Trauma-informed Education and Relational Neuroscience. She has trained with Dr Bruce Perry to be a certified trainer in the Neurosequential Model in Education (NME). Lynda mentors groups of NME trainees from around Aotearoa and Australia. Lynda’s study of neuroscience, along with the development she has led in her own school, have inspired her to promote an awareness of the power of Relational Neuroscience to transform education in Aotearoa. Her work with early years teachers in a range of learning centres has led to significant shifts in kaiako practice and outcomes for tamariki.

Relational Neuroscience for Early Years Education

Lynda will talk about the key principles and concepts of Relational Neuroscience for Early Years education and share a range of practical and effective strategies.
